Horseback riding sucks

We went horse back riding up at Estes Park and we got caught in a thunderstorm in the middle of the forest, woods, whatever. It was fun but also scary. It was me, my brother Marc, Jessica, Chris, and Erin. This guy named Chris took us and we went without our parents. Were very expierenced so we took off and we were having a great time until we saw these huge thunder clouds rolling in and to our luck it rained and thundered. For some wierd reason it was dark but it was 7:00 in the afternoon. The guy had to immedialty grab us off our horses and a minute when he took us off the horses went crazy. The guy had to grab them down and calm them. It worked and we were stupid enough to be under a tree to get out from under the rain and we were trying to get as far away from the horses as possible. We left the poor guy by himself to get the horses.
Anyways he got the horses calmed down but the rain kept pouring. We got back on the horses but my horse slipped on the mud and I asked to get off. We all got off after the others saw how "dangerous" it was, not really, and he had to call for backup because he couldnt control all of the horses. We had back up and we walked all the way up the damn hill back to safety. It was our fault because we decided to get off the horses. By the time we got back to the safety place, we were soaking wet, muddy, tired and had colds. Our dad didnt want to pick us up so we were going to walk back to our hotel until the guy offered us a ride. That was a great vacation though. Also I got the bulls eye when we were peforming archery.
